It seems we’re having an uninvited guest in the archipelago outside our capital and from what I’ve read it is a Russian submarine of some kind and it is also broken in some way. How do we know it’s a Russian submarine and how do we know it’s broken in some way You might wonder. It has been spotted and just before it was spotted an emergency call in Russian was sent on a special wavelength that Russians usually use in emergencies from that specific area (to a Russian base in Kaliningrad) and shortly afterwards another one was sent but it was encrypted.
A Russian cargo ship with the destination Denmark has also been staying on the same spot just outside Swedish territorial water for quite some time now, as soon as the news spread here the ship suddenly started moving south-east towards Russia but suddenly stopped not far from a Swedish island called Gotska Sandön. No one here is surprised since they have been flying their fighter aircrafts in to our territory for quite some time now. The question is, is the submarine still at the same place or has it managed to escape? The best thing would be if they caught it so Russia would be embarrassed for a second time, the first time was when the submarine U137 ran aground just outside the Swedish city Karlskrona many years ago 🙂 🙂 🙂
I’m not the least worried that Russia would decide to attack us, this is more likely to be some kind of training of Russian elite soldiers (Spetsnaz) or perhaps they are here just to record how battle ships from the Netherland sounds like, they have been here in a big navy exercise. But I have to admit that Russian politicians really don’t like us since we’ve been rather active in Ukraine during their problems. To attack us would be too much trouble for nothing really and when things like this happens we will be more prepared and most likely give the militaries much more money to build up our defence and things like this will more likely make us wanna join Nato.
But we would most likely not notice much of it here in the village at the outskirts of the world, we are far too unimportant to see anything happen here 🙂 We would most likely just still complain about the politicians and how much they ignore the countryside and that the taxes are too high no matter who’s in charge 🙂 🙂 🙂
The laundry is done and it’s time to make another pot of tea. We will either get nasty much rain or almost none at all, the predictions are very uncertain. No sun though, that’s the one thing they all agree on 🙂 The hunters are out in the forest again but I have to say they give up rather quickly, we could walk out into the forest before noon yesterday and I guess it will be much the same today. Perhaps I’ll go out by myself again today to take more photos with my latest camera.
Have a great day!
