Could have been better.
The photos today will be a mix from this weekend and the weekend before.
Nova woke me up at 3 am this morning, someone had thrown up by the entrance door and most likely needed to do it again. All dogs ran out and I cleaned the floor while waiting for them to come in again. I couldn’t fall asleep properly after that so I am a bit tired today. I also went down into the cool cellar and watered the plants I have there, it isn’t especially cold there yet so they still need some water. I could hear the wind roar but it was absolutely calm in my garden.
When I came home and opened the door an awful smell hit me in my face. I had to shower the big boys so what ever it was that smelled had to wait until I had done that. Even when I shower them in the garden I have warm water, I just connect the garden hose to the kitchen water tap so I really can’t see why they prefer to shower outdoors. But I managed to get them in to the bathroom even though Orvar did protest some by sitting down 🙂
I took then outside again so they could shake off most of the water, well some anyway and went inside again to find from where that awful smell came. Then I suddenly heard a cat somewhere, it turns out Teodor had followed me into the cellar this morning and I had locked him in 🙂 There are some really big pots with lots of soil in them so I can’t for my life understand why he pooped on the floor?! Cat poop smells really awful 🙂 I won’t know where he peed until one of the plants die I guess because that he does in the pots. He has killed some plants in my home by doing that. It doesn’t smell when he does it but I caught him in action one day so now I know why those plants suddenly died 🙂 Good forbid that he actually would use the cat litter box 🙂
I put the envelope with the two rolls of film in the mailbox today and I’m really looking forward to see how these photos turns out. I think I might have at least two really good photos but I won’t know until they send me an e-mail with a link to a site where I can see them long before they arrive here in my mailbox. I’ll bring the dogs with me because I’ll work over time but I’ll write something here in the blog anyway.

Teodor pooped on the floor as payback for you being so inconsiderate as to leave him confined in the cool cellar. How dare you not know where he is at all times of the day? 🙂
I have shut Piki Dog up in the back hall, the cellarway and the bathroom any number of times. He sneaks in after me and doesn’t sneak out with me.
My mother once shut the cat Monster in between the front door and the storm door. He spent the entire night sideways until I happened to open the door early the next morning. Surprise! He just walked down the hall to his food dish as if everything was just fine.
You remind me that I must find something for my Xmas cards. I still can’t decide. I have one in mind but there’s too much alteration to do to it so I’m stalling. Procrastination is my main talent. 🙂
It’s warm and rainy here today. Almost a tropical feel to the air even though the temperature is 63ºF which is not really a tropical temperature. I found a viola in the lawn yesterday. Picture is on Facebook. A day and a half of above freezing temps with unfrozen soil made it seem like a good idea, I guess. 🙂

:-)Yes how could I miss that 🙂 I actually thought that I had let him and his brother out just before I went don into the cellar 🙂 Teodor behave just like Monster cat when I let him out again but before that he shouted likecrazy behind that door 🙂
I have a fall-back photo just in case none of those two photos I hope are great aren’t 🙂 So I hope they will send me that e-mail already this week so I can order the cards and send them out before it is too late to reach Your side of the ocean before yule.
Not especially tropical here even if it is much warmer than usual. I saw that photo and I think I have a few blue ones still in the lawn too They are really theperfect garden flowers since they just go on until they deep freeze 🙂

Hi Christer!! There is always something with animals isn’t there? If its not the middle of the night, its when you come home from work. In your case, that was both this time around! 🙂 I suspect Teodor was extremely miffed at you and that’s why he did what he did. Cats are so vengeful, its incredible!! The photo of the crinkly orange fungus on the end of the tree is absolutely stunning!! You should consider making a book, your work is fantastic!! We are going to have a high of -23 for Thursday. Can you believe it!!! I can’t speak…..if you never hear from me again its because I have frozen! 🙂 Have a good evening….

He probably was but he just went to the food and started eating 🙂 Thankfully he, unlike his brother, never seems to hold a grudge 🙂 at least not for more than five minutes 🙂
I do like those mushrooms! But making a book would cost a bit too much because no publisher would want to do it 🙂
Here it is much warmer than usual and You already have -!!! Bet build an igloo and insulate if with bear fur 🙂 🙂 🙂

it is over 70 degrees here today. this weather is just too weird. it is windier than i have ever seen it except for when we had the tornado. teddy woke me up at 3:30 and i have been up ever since. i am starting to drag!

You have summer temperatures! I would love that now but I don’t mind that it will get colder here soon though. But it is strange that it is that hot now where You live! I do hope You won’t get a tornado, that would be very late in the year for that, wouldn’t it?

Ja – inte är det bara solsken när man har djur! Fast man förlåter dom ju alltid ändå!! För hur 17 skulle man klara sig utan dom!? Livet skulle bli så vansinnigt enformigt och trist….. 😉
Och deras välbefinnande går absolut först. T.ex. så åkte vi INTE och tittade på julskyltningen i söndags i Klintehamn. Dom hade stort fyrverkeri också och har man en liten skotträdd voffsing så får man hålla sig hemma! O:)
På fredag ska vi på julfest med Trädgårdsentusiasterna – alltså den lilla grubben – och deras makar sdå vi blir nog 15 pers i år. Det är knytis och alla ska ha en rätt med sig. Ha! 3:)
Rolle har med sig mig och jag har alltså två rätter med mig; Laxtårta och indonesisk kokosris med mild chilikyckling och stekt stark kål. Sen ska alla ha en trädgårdsrelaterad julklapp med sig och så lottar vi ut dom. 😀
Dessutom blir det en julquiz med 15 frågor som jag och Rolle fick göra, så det blev frågor om julen, musik och växter. Både lätta och riktigt svåra. :-*
Vi kan alltså inte vara med – men värdparet kan för en gåns skull! :3
Men…dom har två små vilda hanhundar så Santos får vänta i sin bur i bilen tills Rolle har ätit, sen åker han hem och så kommer han tillbaka och hämtar mig senare. Mycket senare, hoppas jag! 😉
Så du ser vad man får offra sig för sin hund. Fast i ärlighetens namn så är Rolle jätteglad att han har Santos att skylla på så att få åka hem tidigt! 😎

Trots allt kan de ju inte rå för att de mår dåligt 🙂
Jag tar faktiskt aldrig med mig mina hundar in till någon av städerna runtikring här, Bara Sune skulle gilla det 🙂 Åker vi till Göteborg är det till ett lugnt ställe eller till havet så det är inte samma sak för dem. Alla smällar skrämmer skiten ur Hector numera så fyrverkeri hade han inte klarat alls.
Låter sopm om ni kommer att få det riktigt kul på fredag 🙂 Fast jag måste erkänna att jag inte är sådär jätteförtjust i lax. Stekt eller kokt går an men rökt aller garvad är rena mardrömmen 🙂 🙂
Jag förstår Rolle så väl 🙂 Jag brukar tycka det är kul en kort stund sedan vill jag iväg 🙂

you have had some pretty stinky messes to clean up, but you have some photos to look forward too coming in the mail from those rolls of film you sent, that will be exciting. I had a cat that peed in my rubber tree plant so often she killed too, and she had a litter box as well!
