We’ve been lucky with sunny mornings here lately.

It has been a nice day here from what I’ve been able to see at work, mostly sunny and not too windy but perhaps a bit cool. The predictions have changed slightly so the rain that was supposed to come tomorrow will come on Wednesday evening and then it will continue to rain for several days. I guess however that prediction will change several times before the rain is supposed to come 🙂

  1. Hi Christer,

I hope the doctor can help with your bad shoulder and relieve your pain and discomfort
I pulled a muscle close to my shoulder blade last Wednesday,it feels like someone is sticking a large needle in..it is my own fault lifting heavy books when I know how easily I can hurt myself these days.

Great photos, all those greens.I love the lacy butterfly in the last photo..It is cloudy here now, rain in the air.Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

    • Hi Lesley!

I hope so too, this has all to do with poor ergonomics, so my shoulder is a bit worn out. All painbters get this sooner or later. I shot with cortisone straight into the joint will help and I’ll also need to work more with my left arm since I am ambidexter. The odd thing is that I can lift 30kg (66 pound) with no problems at all but then I lift my arm or sit here writing and the pain hits like a hot knife. I hope Your pain will eas up soon!

We’ll have pretty good weather tomorrow but it is downhill after that 🙂

      Have a great day!
      Christer.

    • Hi Joyce!

Bad ergonomics I’m afraid. All painters get this sooner or later I’m afraid. We turn and twist our arms in all kinds of strange ways and that’s never good in the long run. But a shot with cortisone straight into the joint should help and after that I must start using my left arm much more, especially since I am ambidexter.

Yes sleeping strangely on the arm can be bad! That was never a problem when we were kids 🙂

I watched the real life lightning map on the net today and I could see that You had thunder close to Your city and hoped that it would bring rain to You.

      Have a great day!
      Christer.

  3. Sorry about your shoulder. 😔
I’m jealous of your sunny day though!
It’s been raining here non-stop and it makes my job extra hard trying to get dogs to go outside and do their business. Truly, even snow would be better.
Ok wait, I must be losing my mind.
    Never snow.
    Take care of yourself!
    🙂

    • Hi Cindi!

      I’m getting old 🙂

We were supposed to get rain around noon today but so far the skies been sunny 🙂

To be honest, with snow nothing gets dirty and that’s not the case when it comes to rain 🙂 But I agree, rather rain anyway 🙂

      Have a great day!
      Christer.

Hi Christer! We had such a storm last evening, and since then it feels like late September rather than June! Its nice the change, so nice I am going to ride my bike to work loving the cool weather. We got some rain, lots of wind and a bit of thunder. Seems like every weekend so far has been stormy. Lovely pic today!! My right shoulder hurts when rain or snow comes – I call it my personal barometer!! 🙂 See you Thursday!

    • Hi Dianna!

It can feel wonderful with that coolness after a period with hot weather! Mornings are always cool here though so I don’t feel the need for a cooling down storm 🙂

I’ve never heard of a weather predicting shoulder before, only toes and knees 🙂

      Have a great day!
      Christer.

    Hi Christer,
Sorry about the shoulder. It’s one of those pains that’s doubly annoying for some reason. If my foot hurts, I can sit down and raise the foot to rest it. There just doesn’t seem to be any way to rest a shoulder. Gravity is always tugging on them in some way or another. And of course when your shoulder hurts, you have a tendency to raise it up closer to your ears which makes it hurt more. Anyway, I hope the doctor can fix you up.

The photos today are all so sunny and sparkling. My favorite is the 4th one with the grass seed heads and the glorious light.

It rained all day and was rather cool for mid June. I had to shut most of my windows and was contemplating turning on the heat for a bit. It was a nice soft rain though. I’m sure the grass and my little seedlings liked it. The dogs didn’t. They like the part of rain where they come in and get to stand under the blow dryer for a few minutes. Yeah, they’re a little weird. 🙂

    Enjoy the day.

    • Hi Caryn!

You’re so right! It is impossible to place the shoulder higher than it already is 🙂 As soon as one moves the arm the shoulder gets involved.I try to keep it low though but it is as You say, it keeps on raising itself higher and higher 🙂

I do like number eight when Sune is shacking of all the water after bathing in the creek 🙂

Still sunny and fairly warm here even though they had predicted otherwise this morning 🙂 but all plants do love a nice rain in summer, Sune too but he’s the only one of us liking it 🙂 I think my dogs would die if I tried to start a blow dryer near them 🙂 🙂

      Have a great day!
      Christer.
