The rain is nasty.
The steady wind feels much stronger than they predicted but the gusts seems much weaker on the other hand. It isn’t as bad as I thought though. The rain however is a bit nasty, it is anything from drizzle to heavy showers and none of it is nice when one is out on a walk 🙂 Even the dogs hurried home today.

I used to call this forest road “the clean road”. Not so any more 🙂
The mail hadn’t arrived when I came home and I’m not sure if I want to go outside to get it in this weather. I’m afraid I need to though, the lid on my box tends to open up when the wind blows this hard and everything inside will get soaked so I guess I better get out there to get it. I will get annoyed if there isn’t anything there when I finally get out 🙂
The fire is burning in the stove, not because it is especially cold but the humidity tends to eat its way inside. Today is a day for relaxing and most likely falling asleep in front of the tv. It is definetaly a day for hot cocoa and some nice sandwiches.

Hi Christer! We too are having a funky weather day! Good thing I took today as a vacation! 🙂 Its currently -2, extremely windy and they say its going to rain again. How very weird. El Nino sure is making himself known today. I will be venturing out a bit later, hopefully the rain stays away until I am back home. I have made 2 loaves of banana bread this morning, laundry is getting done as is the dishwasher. Incredibly productive that I will probably need a nap by noon! I love the picture of the baby spruce tree making a home in the moss on the rock! 🙂 Enjoy your sandwiches and your evening!

-2 and rain is no good combination! The wind has changed direction some so now I can hear it but it doesn’t reach my cottage and that’s how I like it 🙂 I checked the weather predictions again and now it seems we’ll get lts of wind when it all really should be over. I can take the wind even if I’m tried of it but I sure hope the rain goes away.
I’ll do nothing today, just watch tv or read a book I think. I haven’t come around to make any sandwich yet but I think it will be meatball sandwiches with beetroot salad, tyomatoes and cheese 🙂

I went out into the rain and wind just to fid an empty mailbox, I could just have waited until tomorrow morning 🙂 No cable sellers here, lots of people have fiber optics here and they’ll see tv through that but all have the same company so no other business tries to seel anything which can be connected to fiber optics, tv and internet.

oh no! an empty mailbox! bummer. we got a few inches of rain but now the temps are going up into the 50’s. i might have to wait until next winter for snow. however, easter is so early this year that maybe we will have snow for eater. that has happened before! stay warm christer!

Easter and snow is a common combination here since we can have snow way in to May but I’m hoping for an early and very long spring, I don’t mind if spring is a bit chilly, it slows down the start of the fly season 🙂

We had a downpour but it didn’t last long. Afterwards, the day stayed cloudy and damp, and the afternoon got quite chilly. I think it will be chilly for the next few days then it will get warmer. Much of the snow has disappeared.
Grimm is starting here tonight. It is season 5, episode 7. The show took a winter break for a couple of months. It will get to you too.

I don’t know when it stopped to rain here but so far this morning it’s rain free. The winds roaring though and will continue to do ao for a while.
They’ll show the second episode in the same season here so we’re only five episodes behind. I’ve been looking forward to this all week 🙂
