I can’t say I was impressed.

I can’t even pretend I was impressed by the Swedish team yesterday but at least they didn’t lose. 1-1 and that’s only because the Irishmen nicked the ball in to their own goal 🙂 🙂 Mostly the Swedish players ran around like chickens with panick attacks 🙂 I doubt they have any bigger chance to go especially far this year.
Really nice weather today and the predicted rain for tomorrow is no longer predicted, not the rain that would come on Thursday or Friday either but instead they warn for loads of rain on Saturday. The one who lives will know as the old Swedish saying goes 🙂

Our wild strawberries are almost ripe now. So much tastier than the ones we grow. We call them smultron.

What an uninspiring game. 1-1 tie and only because the other team scored against themselves. Maybe they will redeem themselves in subsequent games.
The computer upgrade tossed all my widgets and I can’t get them back. My Desktop looks naked and forlorn. 😦 The thing has also dumped iPhoto and replaced it with Photos which is awful. It’s heavily geared toward social network sharing and access across all your Apple devices of which I have only one. Apple still allows me to use iPhoto which I found in the Launch Pad file so that’s what I’m going to do.
The legless lizard looks like a big worm. And I found myself googling why a legless lizard isn’t a snake. Snakes don’t have eyelids but legless lizards do. Apparently that’s it.
I have to check my front steps every time I let the dogs out because there is a ribbon snake that suns itself out there. One or both of the dogs go after it when they see it but it’s very quick to slip down a convenient hole under the house.
Today is sunny, warm and very windy. The wind is bit chilly, too, which is nice. I can’t check the temperature while I’m typing anymore because my weather widget has been disappeared by Apple Inc. 🙂

It had its moment but not more 🙂 It is a problem when they build up theentire team around one person, Zlatan. He is good but not a god 🙂 and he must be in the mood, which seems to happen every second year or so. Because if he’s not the best we can hope for is a – match 🙂
The upgrade went too unproblematic so now Your punished with all these changes instead. I think those computer companies truöy hates us deeply 🙂 There’s usually a way around the problem but since the computers won’t tell us that’s no real help either 🙂
The Copper lizard does look more like a snake if looking at it from the side but it does look kind 🙂 It also has very different teeth than a snake, much smaller and couldn’t bite me if it tried. I’ve only seen one snake here and it was killed by a car but we must have plenty since we have so much voles and mice here. I also know tere was a second one because it bit old Erna. No big injury but her head sweled up rather drastically. We only have one poisonous snake and its venom is slightly stronger than what a wasp has but bitten in the wrong place it can actually kill with its bite.
We’ve had a cloudy but warm day and thunder hits here and there but not close to my home yeat. I don’t mind if it miss us though 🙂 I knew there was something wrong with yesterdays prediction, there always is 🙂

Hi Christer! Oh that snake/thing/lizard!!!! Incredibly creepy! Are there a lot around? Although we did have a snake as a pet for several years, seeing them out and about creeps me out! They are very quick!!!! But what a fantastic color!!! Well, sorry to hear the game didn’t go quite as planned. Always a bit of a bummer when that happens. We are due rain today, but for now its just cloudy. Then back to the heat. I have Friday and Monday off so I am looking forward to a bit of downtime. I always get this way before summer vacation. I hope your day went well! Lovely photos today!

I have to disagree, it is actually really cute 🙂 It plays dead if one comes too close but one can see how it looks at us just in case we would try to grab it 🙂 I have seen rather many of this and the other lizard we have but I’ve only seen one snake (the only poisonous we have) and it was kiled by a car. I also had a dog who got bitten by tyat kind of snake, no big injuries but her head swelled up rather drastically 🙂 The Copper lizard is anything but quick though 🙂
At least we didn’t lose and that’s something 🙂
Rain and lots of thunder south and west of us, no thunder here yet though but the risk is big that we’ll get it.
I have Friday off and will first drive to the hospital to get my new inlays and after that to Falköping to get my new glasses. I’ll bring two old cameras and if it doesn’t rain I’ll take lots of photos in the city where the hospital is, it’s just by our biggest lake and there are lots of recreational boats in the harbor there.
