So where is that plastic bag?

The only photo I took today. The group of sheep outside their pasture is now getting bigger, I saw at least eight this morning but they all ran in to their pasture as soon as they saw the dogs and I.

I bought a big loaf of bread when I was at the super market yesterday. I remember picking it up from the bag and putting it on the kitchen counter. I can’t find it now! I’ve been looking everywhere since yesterday when I couldn’t find it. It was placed so that only Orvar would be able to reach it and it was placed in a thin plastic bag. I really don’t care about the bread, I can bake bread if I wish too, the problem is that I can’t find that plastic bag anywhere!

normally when the dogs take something they leave traces of evidence but there isn’t a single piece of either the bread nor the plastic bag! The thing is that when this happens (not especially often now days) the culprit usually gets a very upset stomach but none of them have. I am worried that the plastic bag would get stuck in the stomach but they are all eating with great appetite, no vomiting and show now sign of problems. I couldn’t find any traces of the plastic bag when they pooped either. I have checked the entire cottage after traces or if I placed the bread elsewhere than I thought I did but no, it has just vanished from the earth 🙂

I never lock the door when I’m around so anyone could of course have walked in to my home and nicked it but it is a bit far-fetched to think that someone would nick a bread and then walk out again without taking anything else 🙂 🙂 🙂 So I’ll just keep on looking at my dogs when they poop and hope for the best. I’ve even checked the garden if I could see the plastic bag there but nothing so far.

Today feels much chillier than yesterday even if it actually are a bit warmer but the humidity is high and clouds cover the sky. I only took one photo on our morning walk and that’s quite unusual 🙂  but I have plenty to take from earlier days this week. The weather isn’t especially inspiring and I’ve been more concerned about that plastic bag. All the animals are asleep and I think I’ll join them in a while, normally I do laundry on Sundays but it’s vacation so it can wait 🙂

you would think that if one of them ate the bag you would see signs of it in their poop. there was a dog on the news this morning who ate 60 hairbands and 7 pairs of underwear. teddy hardly eats her food let alone anything else. i am just getting my first tomatoes too!

Hi Christer! I wonder where that bag went?!?! How very odd. I hope you have found it by now! We are currently under a heat and weather advisory. The temperature is 29 but with the humidity it feels like 36. Its gross outside. When you step out you feel like you are walking into a warm slightly damp woolen blanket. Yuck! My husband has gone to chase some storms to the south of us. I am sure at some point we will be under a tornado watch. This weather is supposed to stick around for the week at least. July is my least favorite month (well except for January) because we have summer for such a short time but you can’t go outside. I’d like to move to a province where at least we can enjoy the seasons but since we didn’t win the lottery last night, we are staying put. For now anyway! 🙂 I hope your holidays are going well and nice and slow! I went strawberry picking yesterday morning. I got 8 litres of berries and made jam, froze 3 big bags and whatever is left was eaten at leisure. It was fun and good to go before the sun became strong. We were in the fields picking just after 8 a.m. Then we went to our local farmer market in St. Norbert (just outside our city) – I needed spinach because although my garden is growing, its not fast enough! 🙂 Have a good evening!

    • Hi Dianna!

I still haven’t found it 🙂 But all dogs stomachs are fine now so I can only hope that the bread was brought outside while I was napping and that the bag is somewhere in my garden 🙂

No risk of that here 🙂 it will be rainy later on they say and we might reach 20C but the humidity is high this morning so it’s quite unpleasant outside.

I just watched the real time lightning site and there are some really big thunderstorms in Canada so I guess he had the chanse to see some good stroms! Our weather will also stick around for at least a week but most likely longer. I like it when it is around 20C but the rain could go elsewhere 🙂 I do hope You won’t get any tornado!

November and February are my two least liked months, both are just dreadful 🙂

It seems to be a really good berry year this year! I’ve never seen this many blueberries on my bushes before, I’ll get a few cherries and even raspberries this year. The raspberries I have rarely give any berries and the ones they give usually taste very little. Some years however they give both plenty and tasty ones so I hope this is such a year 🙂 My carrots, red onions and broccoli grows fine too 🙂

      Have a great day!

      Christer.
